What is Strength Training?

As a general definition of Strength training, it is a type of physical exercise specializing in the use of resistance to induce muscular contraction which builds the strength, anaerobic endurance, and size of skeletal muscles. Some of the more common ways of strength training can be done involve using your own body weight (push ups), using resistance bands, free weights or exercise machines.

Strength training need not be complicated to be effective. The objective of your  training is what is most important. Be asured though that strenght training can improve many aspects of life including better balance and stability and more energy and vitality.
